Learn to skate/ice dance classes
Includes national and international testing/certificates for most plans
Service Description
We have leveled classes for kids (ages 2 to 12), teens/adults (12+), and recreational teens/adults who want to focus on improving their skating skills while also learning ice dancing. You can book a full session (8-10 weeks), a pass for 10 lessons anytime September through July (does not include testing certificates), a year subscription (all lessons September through July), a single session (no testing certificate), a three-lesson trial (new students only/no testing certificate), or a free trial (for kids ages 2 to 7, just pay 5 EUR for skate rental, which can be waived for skaters who bring their own skates, no testing certificate). Session 1: September 2024 dates: September 8, 15, 22, 29* *special guest coach coming for on and off the ice for learn to ice dance/skating skills adults + PASS class: if you have a full session/pass/subscription, it is included but if you don't, you book the ticket through the events page October 2024 dates: October 6, 13, 20, 27* *Last day of session 1 / test day & Halloween celebration Session 2: November 2024 dates: November 3, 10, 17, 24* *PASS class starts and ends 15 minutes earlier and will share some ice with Learn to Skate/Ice Dance December 2024/January 2025 dates: December 1 (Sinterklaas celebration), 8, 15*, 22, 29, January 5** *PASS class starts and ends 15 minutes earlier and will share some ice with Learn to Skate/Ice Dance **Last day of session 2/test day Session 3: January 2025 dates: January 12, 19, 26 February 2025 dates: February 9, 23 March 2025 dates: March 2, 9, 16* *Last day of session 3/test day & St. Patrick's Day celebration Session 4: March 2025 dates: March 23, 30 April 2025 dates: April 6, 13, 27 May 2025 dates: May 4, 11, 18* *Last day of session 4/test day Session 5: skaters will prepare for a gala number that will be performed on our last day of the season and potentially showcased in the Deen Figure Skating gala as well! Skaters must attend all sessions. Not interested in doing a gala number? A separate group will be taught at the same time. Though the session is only 6 lessons, the ice cost is much higher in the summer so the price remains the same as the 8 week sessions.
